The first two installments in the series, Fallout (1997) and Fallout 2 (1998), were developed by Black Isle Studios and are considered groundbreaking among the RPG fans. Since the release of Fallout 3 (2008) the franchise took a different approach. Fallout games became first-person shooters (with some RPG elements) set in the open world. It made the gameplay more simple and accessible, a fact that was both praised and criticized by the series’ fans. The most recent installment in the series is Fallout 4, released in late 2015. Worms is a franchise consisting of video games created by Team17. Worms video games can be described as a mix of artillery and turn-based games. In a typical Worms game, a player controls a small squad of worms and battles other squads (computer- or player-controlled) on a destructible map.
