With the release of Assassin's Creed II (2009), Ubisoft launched the Uplay network which can be activated either in-game or through the Uplay website. Uplay network allows players to connect with each other and gain various rewards based on in-game achievement system. Uplay is a digital distribution platform created by Ubisoft Entertainment Sweden AB. It offers digital rights management (DRM), many multiplayer options and communications service. It provides an experience similar to the achievements systems offered by other game companies. The service works across multiple platforms (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Wii U, iOS, Windows Phone, Android, Facebook, and more). Uplay is used exclusively by Ubisoft games, and although some third-party titles are sold through the Uplay store, they do not use the platform and don’t share its extensive benefits. The best Steam games we can think ofPlanned assassinations, carefully folded clothing, and the trademark barcode tattoo. What game we’re talking about? Well, take a wild guess! Hitman is a stealth video game series developed by the IO Interactive. The story revolves around Agent 47 (usually referred to as “47” or “Mr. 47”), a genetically engineered assassin, whose flawless record places him in high demand. The core objective of every level is to kill an assigned target (and sometimes also additional targets). In most cases, Hitman games allow the player many different options to accomplish their objective. Players can perform precise assassinations or slaughter mindlessly but the game tends to reward a subtle approach. 47 can also wear a variety of disguises (police officers, firemen, waiters, technicians, and so on) to his fool enemies and gain access to many otherwise restricted areas. The focus of Hitman is not hiding in the shadows, but rather blending in amongst enemies. Previously published by Eidos Interactive, and currently published by Square Enix, the Hitman series is available on Microsoft Windows as well as several video game consoles, including the Xbox, PlayStation, and GameCube. The original game series has also expanded into a novelization, Hitman: Enemy Within, followed by two film adaptations (in 2007 and 2015), which are loosely based on the games’ storyline. Hitman is one of the most iconic video game franchises of all time. Omitting this title is unforgivable so grab your own copy right now!Hide
