Origin is a digital distribution platform developed by Electronic Arts. It offers mainly online gaming service and digital rights management (DRM). Origin allows its users to purchase games via the internet for PC and mobile platforms and then download them with the Origin client. It also features many social options, like profile management, networking with friends on chat, and direct game joining (along with the in-game overlay). Real-time tactics (also known as RTT) is a subgenre of tactical war video games played in real-time. These games are simulating the circumstances of operational warfare and various military tactics. XCOM is a reboot of the original X-Com, created by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games. It’s a sci-fi video game franchise featuring an elite international organization tasked with countering alien invasion of Earth. The XCOM series began in 2012 with the strategy video game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It was a critical and commercial success, with immediately spawn an expansion, called Enemy Within, as well as a prequel, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
