War. War never changes. Every time you play a Fallout game, those legendary words are coming out of the speakers. Fallout is a franchise consisting of eight post-apocalyptic role-playing video games created in 1998 by Interplay Entertainment. All events in the series are set in the 22nd and 23rd century. It’s a dystopian, retrofuturistic world heavily influenced by the America’s post-war culture (a unique combination of hope, technology, fear, and nuclear annihilation). The Fallout series is said to be a spiritual successor of 1988’s Wasteland.
