Sonic the Hedgehog is a very popular video game franchise created by Sega. The franchise consists mostly of speed-based platform games but it has been spun out into other media (cartoons, anime, comic book series, etc.) as well. Aside from the aforementioned platformers, Sonic games consist of puzzle, fighting, and even RPG titles. The series’ protagonist is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog named Sonic, who tries to stop the diabolical Doctor Eggman and foil his plans of world domination. Thankfully, Sonic is not alone as he can always count on his friends: Tails, Amy, and Knuckles. Sonic the Hedgehog video game series has sold over 80 million physical copies (over 350 million units with mobile downloads). In Darksiders games, players take control of War and Death, two of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Both games are shown in third-person perspective and engage players in combat, exploration, and various puzzles. The world is divided into many separate locations with some areas initially inaccessible. The first game was released in 2010 for multiple platforms and its sequel in 2012.
