Each part of the GTA series focuses on a different protagonist who attempts to rise through the ranks of the city’s criminal underworld. Football Manager (also known as Worldwide Soccer Manager in the US) is a series of football management simulation games created in 1992 by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. The franchise began its life as Championship Manager but after the break-up with the original publishers, Eidos Interactive, Sports Interactive lost the naming rights and rebranded the franchise with their new publishers Sega. That’s how Football Manager was born. Football Manager is a very detailed game and offers many hours of fun. Statistics, marketing, and gathering information about clubs and players are all very important parts of every installment. The game is released annually and is based on the corresponding football season. Fun fact: Football Manager has been recognized by many real-life football clubs as a reliable source for scouting players. For example, an English club, Everton FC, signed a deal with Sports Interactive which allows them to use the in-game database to scout players and other clubs.
