XCOM is a reboot of the original X-Com, created by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games. It’s a sci-fi video game franchise featuring an elite international organization tasked with countering alien invasion of Earth. The XCOM series began in 2012 with the strategy video game XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It was a critical and commercial success, with immediately spawn an expansion, called Enemy Within, as well as a prequel, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.
