Sandbox RPG Split Screen Crusader Kings

4.1 from 8151 reviews

Sandbox is a loose term used to describe the open world video games. In a typical sandbox RPG, players can move freely through a virtual world and are given particular freedom in regard to objective approach - unlike in other RPG games with more linear structure. A sandbox RPG usually lacks the invisible walls and/or loading screens (a common trait of linear level designs) but still has some restrictions in the game environment. Games with a particularly high level of autonomy are typically MMORPGs (e.g. World of Warcraft) and sometimes also classic single-player RPGs (like the Fallout series). The most appealing trait of typical open world games is that they try to simulate reality and allow players to develop many aspects of their gameplay (e.g. character, world, questline, etc.). It should also be noted that sandbox games don’t have a specific goal or pre-defined ending. The best, most popular sandbox games include Watch Dogs, Final Fantasy XV, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto V, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and of course Minecraft. Immerse yourself in a living world! The best sandbox RPG games for PC and consoles - only on Games Republic.
One of the most successful, most well-made horror series of all time. The franchise that basically gave birth to the zombie-apocalypse genre in video games. What are we talking about? The answer can be only one: Resident Evil! Resident Evil (also known as Biohazard in Japan), is a survival horror video game franchise created by Shinji Mikami and Tokuro Fujiwara and owned by Capcom. The franchise revolves mostly around a series of survival horror video games but has also spawned numerous movies, comic books, novelizations, sound dramas, and even action figures. The series' plot focuses on multiple characters and their role in recurring outbreaks of zombies and other horrible monsters. These events are triggered by the release of the infamous T-virus (and other biological weapons) created by the fictional Umbrella Corporation. The first Resident Evil game was released in early 1996 as a survival horror, but the franchise has since grown to encompass also other video game genres. Today, it’s a fusion of action-adventure, TPP, and horror-inspired plotlines but also employs some level exploration and simple puzzle solving. The entire series has sold over 75 million units worldwide and is considered Capcom's biggest franchise to date. Resident Evil is probably the best horror game series of all time. Check it out on Games Republic and prepare yourself for many sleepless nights!
Max Payne is a video game franchise created by Remedy Entertainment and Rockstar Studios. It is named after the game’s protagonist, Max Payne, a detective who became a vigilante after the murder of his entire family. The series' first (2001) and second (2003) installments were written by Sam Lake and Max Payne 3 (2012) by Dan Houser. There was also a movie adaptation, loosely based on the original game, starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis. The movie came out in 2008. The Max Payne franchise is notable for its introduction and use of “bullet time” in many of its action sequences. All three games were very positively received by critics and gamers alike. The series has sold over 10 million copies worldwide and is to this day considered by many players as one of the most influential in TPP action games. Max Payne, one of the best TPS games of all time, is available at Games Republic. Get your own copy now and use the legendary bullet time!
