Sandbox is a loose term used to describe the open world video games. In a typical sandbox RPG, players can move freely through a virtual world and are given particular freedom in regard to objective approach - unlike in other RPG games with more linear structure. Far Cry is a renown franchise of FPS video games. The first game, titled Far Cry, was developed by Crytek and published by Ubisoft in early 2004.
