In Single Player mode, only one player is expected to participate in every gaming session. The term “Single Player video game” usually refers to a game that can only be played by one person. The “Single Player mode” usually refers to a particular game mode that is designed for one player, though the game also contains other modes (that can be played by several players simultaneously). The majority of modern video games are designed so that they can be played in Single Player. Tekken is a video game franchise created, developed, and published by Namco Bandai. All Tekken titles focus on a series of fighting games but the franchise has also been adapted into other media (e.g. movies). The story revolves mainly around the Mishima clan and a long-lasting conflict between Heihachi Mishima and his son, Kazuya Mishima. There are currently six main installments to the series - each one of them focusing on the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament. After beating the game, an ending cutscene is unlocked (one for every character). Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 were truly breakthrough titles and are considered among the best fighting games of all time (Tekken 3 is actually the second best selling fighting game to date). The series itself is the best selling fighting game franchise in the history of gaming. Interesting fact: Tekken was one of the first fighting games which utilized the 3D animation. Football Manager (also known as Worldwide Soccer Manager in the US) is a series of football management simulation games created in 1992 by Sports Interactive and published by Sega. The franchise began its life as Championship Manager but after the break-up with the original publishers, Eidos Interactive, Sports Interactive lost the naming rights and rebranded the franchise with their new publishers Sega. That’s how Football Manager was born. Football Manager is a very detailed game and offers many hours of fun. Statistics, marketing, and gathering information about clubs and players are all very important parts of every installment. The game is released annually and is based on the corresponding football season. Fun fact: Football Manager has been recognized by many real-life football clubs as a reliable source for scouting players. For example, an English club, Everton FC, signed a deal with Sports Interactive which allows them to use the in-game database to scout players and other clubs.
