Assassin’s Creed is a video game franchise built around action-adventure games created by Ubisoft. Its main plot revolves around a very old feud between the Assassins (who fight for peace with free will) and the Templars (who desire peace through control). Assassin's Creed mixes fictional characters with real-world historical events and figures. The franchise was born in 2007 with the release of the first game titled Assassin's Creed. The entire main series consists of nine games and was released on multiple platforms, including PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and OS X. The Assassin's Creed games emphasize on freedom and use of surroundings. Running, climbing the sides of buildings, jumping between rooftops, sneaking, and fighting are all very well executed. This allows different approaches to mission objectives and different playstyles. The franchise was very positively acclaimed and is currently one of the most successful video game series. Tekken is a video game franchise created, developed, and published by Namco Bandai. All Tekken titles focus on a series of fighting games but the franchise has also been adapted into other media (e.g. movies). The story revolves mainly around the Mishima clan and a long-lasting conflict between Heihachi Mishima and his son, Kazuya Mishima. There are currently six main installments to the series - each one of them focusing on the events of the King of Iron Fist Tournament. After beating the game, an ending cutscene is unlocked (one for every character). Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 were truly breakthrough titles and are considered among the best fighting games of all time (Tekken 3 is actually the second best selling fighting game to date). The series itself is the best selling fighting game franchise in the history of gaming. Interesting fact: Tekken was one of the first fighting games which utilized the 3D animation.
